Multi-Modal Learning

By multi-modal, we mean that Spark believes that the richest learning and relationship-building experiences are those that combine highly interactive real-world events with online social and knowledge sharing tools.

In addition, multi-modal happens to be a nice term to describe our belief that there are a variety of learning styles and modalities beyond the typical top-down, left-brain, power-point presentation. In an information-overloaded society, emphasizing other learning styles and 'right brain' values has become increasingly important.

Dan Pink, in his bestselling book 'A Whole New Mind: Why Right-Brainers will Rule the Future" talks about 'six senses' that are crucial to develop right now: design, story, empathy, play, meaning, & symphony. Adding that 'right-brain' dimension to our content, or to our client's content, is what Spark is all about.
