Leading One's Self

Leading a team is not an easy job. Being a leader requires me to be a good example to my subordinates. That has always been my role ever since I was still a student.

I've always been part of the student organizations, that perhaps why I have always had this leadership mentality in me. When I earned my degree and landed on my first job, again, my leadership skill was tested.

I was then assigned to lead a group of essay writers. Could you imagine, I was just twenty-two then, and yet I was tasked to lead a group of ten? What made it more interesting is, most of them are older than me. Really, it wasn't an easy job. But I was able to do my job to the best I could.

Today, I am again leading. But not a huge group of people. I am leading myself. Sounds serious huh? But yeah, I must say, I am good at leading people but not myself. That is really going to be a tough job that I need to be able to get through. Oh well, I know I will. I am positive that I'd be able to make it.
